In Finkkle Spaces, a conversation is the durable record of a piece of work. Unlike a simple chat session that disappears when you close the tab, Spaces conversations persist — with their message history, attached files, generated artifacts, and automation runs — so you can return to any conversation and continue from exactly where you left off.

How context works

Every conversation maintains its own context independently. Context is explicit and intentional: you decide what enters each conversation.
  • Active tab — the current tab is the primary context by default
  • Linked tabs — you can explicitly link other open tabs as reference material
  • Attachments — files, images, and links you add to a message
  • Artifacts — previously generated outputs you bring back into the thread
Keep context focused. A conversation with a clear objective and minimal, relevant context produces better results than one with everything attached.

Starting and managing conversations

  • New conversation — click the compose button or type in the empty composer. Give each conversation a single, clear objective so it stays easy to navigate and share.
  • Rename — click the conversation title to rename it. Use a name that describes the outcome: “Q3 marketing brief”, not “new chat”.
  • Archive or delete — use the conversation menu (⋯) to archive or delete. Archiving hides it from the main list but keeps it searchable.
  • Share — conversations with shareable artifacts can be exported. Use the share control in the artifact panel.

Tab context

Each conversation tab stays isolated by default — it does not inherit context from other tabs unless you explicitly link them. To use another tab as context:
  1. Open the Tab context panel in the right sidebar
  2. Click Use other tabs as context
  3. Select the tabs you want to reference
This is useful when you are researching across multiple pages and want Spaces to synthesize them.

Artifacts

When Spaces produces a long-form or structured result, it can present it as an artifact — a standalone output you can save, export, or continue iterating on. Artifacts include:
  • Documents and notes
  • Tables and spreadsheets
  • Code files
  • Visual outputs
  • Slide outlines
Artifacts stay attached to the conversation. Use the Preview panel to inspect them and the Copy button to export content.
Give each conversation one outcome. If you need to explore a different topic, start a new conversation instead of appending to an existing one — it keeps histories clean and easy to return to.
