Finkkle Search has several distinct modes so you can find exactly what you need — whether that’s a ranked list of web pages, an AI-generated answer with citations, or browsing images and shopping results. The default mode returns a ranked list of web results enriched with knowledge panels and utility cards. This is the fastest path for informational lookups, navigational queries, and general browsing. Best for: finding a specific page, getting a quick fact, looking up a business or person. Scout is Finkkle’s AI answer mode. Activate it by clicking Scout (AI Search) on the homepage. Scout:
  • Reads your question as a natural language prompt
  • Queries multiple sources in parallel
  • Synthesizes a structured answer with numbered citations
  • Supports follow-up questions in the same thread
Best for: research, comparison, planning, and any question that benefits from synthesis across sources.

Ask Dufus

Dufus appears as an inline assistant on both the homepage and results pages. Click Ask Dufus to open the chat panel. Dufus remembers your search context and can go deeper on any topic, draft content, or transition the conversation to Finkkle Spaces.

Trip Planning

Select Trip Planning on the homepage to enter a guided flow for travel queries. Provide your destination, dates, and preferences — Finkkle will generate an itinerary plan, surface relevant results, and let you refine within the conversation.
You can combine modes: run a Scout query, switch to Images to find visuals, then continue planning in Spaces — all without losing your context.
