Finkkle Igno

IIGNO: AI Assistant and Automation Agent in Igno

IIGNO is Finkkle's AI assistant and automation engine in Igno — handling chat, task organization, scheduling, reminders, and workflow automation.

IIGNO (referred to as Igno in conversation) is the AI assistant and automation engine built into Finkkle Igno. Beyond everyday chat and Q\&A, Igno is a powerful automation and organization tool: it creates and manages scheduled workflows, event-triggered automations, reminders, and task orchestration — all through plain language, without configuration files or code.

What Igno does

Talking to Igno

Igno is available in every Finkkle Igno conversation. Start any conversation from igno.finkkle.com and Igno is your default assistant. You do not need to configure anything.

Everyday use:

"Summarize the meeting notes I just attached and list the action items."
"Draft a reply to the email I pasted. Keep it under 100 words, professional tone."
"Explain the concept of exponential backoff to a junior developer."
"Create a project checklist for launching a new feature."

Organization:

"Remind me every Monday at 9 AM to review my open tasks."
"Create a daily briefing automation that summarizes my top three priorities."
"Organize my conversations from this week into a project summary."

Automation:

"After each document I upload, extract the key dates and add them to a running list."
"Every Friday at 5 PM, generate a summary of my Igno activity this week."
"When a new file is added to my Library, categorize it and suggest a project."

Igno and automations

Igno is the interface for creating and managing Igno automations. Describe what you want to automate in plain language — Igno parses the instruction, identifies the trigger and action, and presents the configuration for your review before activation.

See the Automations guide for a full walkthrough.

Choosing between Igno and Dufus

Igno and Dufus are both AI agents inside Igno, but they specialize in different things:

| Task | Use | | ----------------------------------- | ----- | | General chat and Q\&A | Igno | | Writing and editing content | Igno | | Task management and reminders | Igno | | Scheduling and automation | Igno | | Writing or debugging code | Dufus | | Explaining or reviewing a codebase | Dufus | | Working with a local or GitHub repo | Dufus | | Terminal commands and scripts | Dufus |

In practice, Igno selects the right agent automatically based on your request. You can also ask explicitly: *"Use Dufus to..."* or *"Ask Igno to..."*

Models

Igno uses Finkkle's Arctic model family by default. You can switch models in any conversation using the model selector:

| Model | Best for | | -------------- | --------------------------------------- | | Arctic 1 | Fast responses, short tasks, quick Q\&A | | Arctic 1.2 | Balanced performance for most tasks | | Arctic 1.3 | Longer context, complex reasoning | | Arctic 1.4 | Highest capability, deep analysis |

For access to GPT-5.x class models, connect your Finkkle One account. See Models for details.

Use Igno's Research mode for tasks that benefit from source citations and evidence-backed answers. For open-ended creative or drafting work, Chat mode is usually faster and more flexible.
